Domestic Conveyancing

We specialise in residential conveyancing and can help you with the process of selling, buying and mortgaging. It helps if you get in touch with us at the outset and it may save you money.

We can arrange a Home Information Pack (HIP), advise on surveys and deposits, and help you to choose an estate agent and insurance broker as appropriate.

Our guidance includes helping you through the procedure from the initial stage of preparing a Home Information Pack to enable you to put your property on the market, all the way to moving in on completion. After this we look after paying the stamp duty land tax (if any), dealing with the Land Registry and other formalities, especially with leasehold flats.

Commercial Conveyancing

We can act for you if you are buying business premises, taking a lease, or selling or letting them. We advise and help also on matters coming up during a tenancy, such as renewals of leases and rent reviews. Taking over a business can be fraught with pitfalls, and we can help you avoid them. Where necessary we will liaise with your accountant and surveyor. We can help you find your way through related matters, such as licensing and assignment of various rights.

After completion, we handle the outstanding tax and registration formalities, as with houses and flats.
